If you have experience with any of the metric tracking software mentioned in the lesson and you have additional insight, let us know about your experience with it.

If you have experience with a different metric tracking software than what was mentioned in the list, let us know the pros and cons here.

I have actually been using Toggl and I love it! Although, I learned SO much more about how I can use it well from your tutorial. Thank you so much!

I didn’t know you could use Toggl for tracking metrics. Did you perhaps mean to post this in the project and time tracking software forum?

I am glad you learned more about its useful features. I love the ability to tag time so that it is categorized by billable and then all my various admin categories.

I also use Toggl and love it. Tracking this past Saturday, I found I actually spent less time on “miscellaneous computer stuff” than I thought I would and more time editing. I was coming up on a deadline though which may have accounted for my heightened focus. For the future, I’d like to break down the misc. into business and personal and also track time away from the computer. I often think I’ve worked a solid eight hours and then toggl lets me know I only got in a few hours of actual editing time. Maybe it’s taking me longer than I think to put a load of laundry in…?

It is always surprising to see the time spent working. Those few minutes of checking Facebook or reading an article really add up. But it is good to remember we aren’t machines. 😀

Yes, I certainly have more heightened focus days, and then days I spent too much time on distractions.
